Every job ad should be a genuine opportunity—nothing more, nothing less.
The Truth in Job Advertising and Accountability Act (TJAAA) is landmark legislation designed to eliminate fake job ads, protect job seekers’ privacy, and restore integrity to the hiring process. It ensures that every public job posting is a genuine opportunity—funded, timely, and traceable—while holding employers, recruiters, and platforms accountable for deceptive practices. By requiring transparency around salary, intent to hire, and use of AI, the TJAAA empowers applicants with the truth and creates a fairer, more honest labor market for everyone.

About our
working group
We are everyday professionals who, like millions of others, have felt the weight of a shifting economy—only to have that struggle deepened by misleading and fraudulent job postings. Rather than stay silent, we chose to take action.
Our working group came together to champion fairness, transparency, and accountability in the hiring process. The TJAAA is our response—a push for policy that protects job seekers and restores trust in the job market
